RETURNS POLICY

OVERVIEW

Our hair is beautiful, however, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase from SILKY GLOSSY HAIR we are happy to accept returns within 28 days from the day goods were delivered and will refund you if the product and packaging are unused and in the condition that they arrived in.

You are responsible for the postage costs associated with returning your item (s) and we strongly advise that you send your returned items using a tracked service to ensure they reach us safely.  Please email hello@silkyglossyhair.com within 28 days of purchase with your order number and the correct return address will be provided to you. Note refunds can take up to 10 days from the moment we receive your return. 

Order cancellation requests can be sent to hello@silkyglossyhair.com. Orders are processed daily and every effort will be made to accommodate your cancellation request before it leaves the warehouse. Please take additional care to ensure address details, names and basket contents are correct before making your order. If your order is already dispatched you can follow the returns request as above. 

If your order contains a faulty item, please email the team on hello@silkyglossyhair.com with the issue, order number or place of purchase and images if possible. Each query will be dealt with individually. 

SILKY GLOSSY HAIR will respond to all queries as quickly as possible. 

This policy lasts 28 days. If 28 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a refund, the item will be inspected and it must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

PRICE AND PAYMENT

Payment for the goods is taken at the point of purchase.

The price of the Goods and our delivery charges will be as quoted on our site from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.

Goods prices are shown on our site inclusive of VAT. VAT may be charged depending on where the Goods are being delivered to.

Delivery is a flat rate when you order Goods from our site. The costs of delivery in all other circumstances are as displayed on our site.

Goods’ prices and delivery charges are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.

Our site contains a number of Goods and it is always possible that, despite our efforts, some of the Goods listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Goods correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Goods to you. If a Goods correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you to see what you want to do before dispatching the Goods, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.

We are under no obligation to provide the Goods to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation if the pricing error is obvious and unmistakeable and could have reasonably been recognised by you as an error.

Payment for all Goods must be by credit card, debit card or via PayPal. We accept payment by major credit and debit cards.

Your card provider may charge you for using your card. Please check the terms and conditions with your card provider carefully and in advance of submitting your payment details.

REFUNDS

We will ordinarily refund the full purchase price of the Goods paid within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or proof of postage. Goods must be returned unused, and in their original packaging. You must also take reasonable care of goods before you return them to us (which includes keeping them away from direct sunlight and heat whilst in your possession). We may reduce the amount we refund to you if you use them, damage them or otherwise do something beyond what is reasonably necessary to examine them that reduces their resale value.

DELIVERY

We aim to deliver the goods within 10 working days or the timescales shown on our site and the delivery date set out in the Dispatch Confirmation. For UK, EU and ROW deliveries, we aim to ensure delivery is made no later than 30 days after the date of the Dispatch Confirmation. However, time is not of the essence for delivery or performance and all delivery or dispatch dates specified on our site and in any correspondence are estimates only. This means that we will not be responsible if goods are delivered outside of those times and we will not be liable for the consequences of any delay caused by an event outside of our control, provided we contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the delay.

Ownership of the goods and all risks (including risk of loss and/or damage to the goods) will pass to you when they are delivered to the delivery address specified in your order.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

We deliver to most countries with FedEx/ DHL. You have to select the country where you want the Goods delivered from the drop down box as part of the ordering process (International Delivery Destination), if your country is not listed, we do not currently deliver to that country.

If you order Goods from our site for delivery to an International Delivery Destination, your order may be subject to import duties and taxes which are applied when the delivery reaches that destination. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the Goods are destined. We will not be liable or responsible if you break any such law.

EVENTS OUT OF OUR CONTROL

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside of our control (force majeure event).

Our performance of the Contract will be suspended while the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will have an extension of time to perform our obligations under the Contract for that period. If the Force Majeure Event continues for more than a month we or you may end the Contract by giving you 7 days’ notice in writing.

QUALITY PROMISE

Our Goods purchased from us through our site will:

(a) conform with their description given at the shopping bag page where you checkout;

(b) be of satisfactory quality;

(c) fit for the purposes for which goods of that kind are commonly supplied; and

(d) correspond with any samples we have sent you.

We cannot guarantee that the Goods will work as desired indefinitely.
